Who is Thomene?
Thomene Dilley is a Doha-based South African artist whose work is deeply personal and profoundly expressive. Painting has become her way of processing life’s most challenging moments — a space where colour, texture, and emotion meet.
Following the loss of her mother, Thomene returned to the canvas as a source of healing and reconnection. Her art is both an outlet and a bridge: a way to explore grief, resilience, and the beauty of finding light again. Through each brushstroke, she invites the viewer to share in that journey — not just to see her work, but to feel it.
